THE STORY

The story of DFW Shutter Shop began in 1998, when our owner, Shannon, started selling and installing blinds. She learned technique from her mother, Sheri, who hand-made drapery under the business name, Special Touches.

 

DFW Shutter Shop is now a mother-daughter run business as of 2020. Shannon and Skylar have expanded the business in order to cater to the entire Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex (+ many more locations on occasion!)

 

Over the years, Shannon has established close-knit relationships with manufacturers to ensure she is selling the best quality product. DFW Shutter Shop is proud partners with Exus Shutters, Pro Design for interior shades and Universal Screens for outdoor shades.

In her free time, Shannon stays busy running multiple businesses, taking care of her four daughters as well as her fur children, painting, practicing yoga, gardening and cooking.
